Day 4 Bouns activity winter learning journey

Bouns Activity

Because Hector's Dolpines are a very specail native animals found only in New Zealand. They are very rare and I totally agree that fishing should be banned from Farewell Spit because our very special native animals will get killed.

  1. Kia ora Solomone,

It was so nice to see you at St Pius yesterday when I came in to hand out the certificates and the prizes. I hope that you were able to take your certificate home and show your family!

I also hope that you enjoyed learning new things about New Zealand. I am so impressed that you tackled this challenging activity and provided us with your opinion about banning fishing in Farewell Spit. I agree with you that something should be done to protect the endangered dolphins. It would be so sad if they completely disappeared, wouldn't it? I hope that some changes are made soon that enable the dolphins to live safely and freely in the water.

Keep up the great work with your blogging, Solomone! I can't wait to read more of your posts and to see you when I come back to St Pius in Term 4 to talk about the Summer Learning Journey programme.

    Cheers,
    Rachel :)
