Day 3 activity 2 winter learning journey



Activity 2; Predator free

* Personally, I think yes  Possum should be killed because Possums eat about 21, 000 tonnes of leaves and flowers in just one night.

* Possums carry a disease called bovine Tb which they spread to cattle.

* The damage they done (Possums) costs NZ fammers about $35 million every year.

    Hi Solomone,

    Great review for the possums. How do you feel about the possums carrying a disease? Do you think they will spread through other native animals in New Zealand? I'm very interested to find out what you think.

      I think its not good knowing possums carrying disease,and yes I think they will spread it to the other native animals in New Zealand.
