Day 2 activity 1

After a short ride through Auckland it is time to start exploring the rest of the country. Today you are going to venture around the north island of New Zealand to look at active volcanoes, gorgeous beaches, windswept coastline and lush, green bush. As a group, you will start at Rangitoto, the largest volcano in New Zealand before driving west to Karekare, a stunning beach on the outskirts of Auckland. You will finish the day by driving north to visit Tane Mahuta, the oldest living kauri tree in New Zealand.

Activity 1 After a very busy day of sightseeing you and your group drive from Tane Mahuta to your hotel in Dargaville. When you arrive you decide to sit down and record your thoughts in your travel diary.Before you start writing, take a minute to read more about Rangitoto island, Karekare beach and Tane Mahuta.  On your blog, tell us which of the three places you most enjoyed visiting and why.

I like the karekare beach because you can have a picnic,swim and a long walk.

1.  Rangitoto island  is the biggest land mark and can be seen all over the city.

2.  Piha beach is the famous spot for experience surface.

3.  Auckland zoo we can meet and treat animals.

4.  Rainbows end for relaxing and enjoy  many rides.

3 facts

1.   I choose Weta cave was invented by a famous NZ filmmaker Peter Jackson.

2.   I choose great outdoors and we know that Sir Edmund Hillary was one of the greatest to conquered mt Everest the highest mountain in the world.

3. I choose mate ship on the sporting field, two world war saw this. As we all know rugby is one of the greatest sport in NZ and the mighty All Blacks wins the world cup in 2011.

Winter learning journey

I choose 3 colours which  is black, green and white and they all represent New Zealand.
Green represents knowledge and growth.
White represents pure so New Zealand is known as clean and a land of long white clouds.
Black represents the All Blacks and the star represents sailors and New Zealand bring back home the Americans cup.
